Small World

Jim and John were out on the golf course enjoying a saturday morning round.
After a few holes they caught up to a couple woman golfers who were less than skilled.
After waiting for them to finish the hole and the next (which was no better) Jim told John "I'll go down and ask them if we can play through."
He started towards the pair of ladies and when he got about halfway, turned around and came back.
"I can't go over there" he told John. "One of those is my wife and the other my mistress!"
John laughed and said "I'll go," and headed towards the women.
About halfway there he too turned around and headed back to where he'd left Jim.
"Small world," he said, with a sheepish grin. |
