A Desi in America was just recovering from anesthesia after surgery, and his wife was sitting by his side.
His eye lids wiggled open and he said, "Darling, you are so beautiful to be with me" and then he hung his face and started snoring.
His wife had never heard him say that so she continued to stay from work and at his bedside for longer for this most beautiful moments of her life. A few minutes later his eyelids wiggled open and he said "You are cute, but why aren’t you at work!"
The wife was quite annoyed at this ungrateful appreciation and language change.
She blasted at him, "What the hell happened to 'beautiful'?"
Desi replied, "Nothing, the drugs are wearing off now, I am OK!" |
