Every Member

A pastor said one day, as part of his Sermon: "Every member of this church is going to die."
Then the pastor noticed that a man in the congregation started to smile as he said these words. Thinking he hadn't heard him, the pastor repeated the same sentence several times, in a louder voice each time: Every member of this church is going to die."
The man smiled even more widely.
Perplexed, at the end of the service the pastor asked the man in question why he was smiling.
The man replied: "I'm not a member of this church." |
